March 2026 ~ Spring Reset and What’s on the Horizon

Doesn't March always feel like a rollercoaster? It's not quite winter, not fully spring. Things start to thaw, then freeze again, the days stretch a little longer, and you notice that first daffodil or cherry blossom slowly appear. I'm trying to lean into that shift in a way that feels natural: a little lighter, a little brighter, but also staying more focused, connected and grounded than ever.

Spring refresh ...

As we moved away from February, I found myself craving a reset, especially at the studio, nothing too crazy but I did make some small shifts to highlight our products better & make things feel fresh again. Swapping out older pieces, airing out spaces, & behind the scenes, finally tackling that one corner that’s been collecting things all winter. It’s less about a full overhaul and more about creating space for what feels good & fresh right now.

In addition to a full array of products, we also have a new hire (Jules) who is busy learning the ropes at the studio and taking over all things inventory & order related. If you're local, we hope you'll stop by the studio in Brookland and say hello & welcome!

This spring there are more ways than ever to see us & shop ixöq. As the season gets under way, we'll be popping up at a series of markets across the DC area. These events are at the heart of what we do: meeting you face-to-face and connecting over the textures, the colors, and the stories behind each piece.
