Designed by ixöq and handwoven by our partner artisans in Guatemala, using threads of recycled plastic, these ‘cesta’ totes are modeled on the traditional market bags you see throughout Latin American and come in a variety of colors and designs created for the US market. These totes are perfect for the market, as a carry-on, for the office, the gym, basically anywhere that you'd like an attractive and sturdy carry-all bag. They also work well as storage in your house and perfect for magazines, towels, toys, etc... They are very durable and easy to clean and they are 100% vegan!

The basket weave is a new design for 2025, introduced in late 2024. Two colors are interwoven together to simulate the look of a natural fiber basket. We've also played with introducing a third color accent on some of these with handle colors that compliment the weave.

All ixöq products are ethically made, sustainable sourced and follow fair trade standards. We work directly with our partner artisans on each custom order and pay a fair wage for the artisans’ work.

Shipping is based on a flat rate designated by product. We offer free shipping for all orders over $175 (use code FREESHIP175).

All ixöq products are handmade and custom produced so we cannot accept returns based on slight variations in color or measurement. We accept returns if an item is damaged or differs in design or by more than an inch (2cm) in measurement from the specs. Items that cannot be returned can be exchanged for another in-stock item. We do not accept returns on special ordered items. 

Returns (for refund or exchange) must be received within 30 days of purchase.

Please contact us (info@ixoqus.com) if you need to make a return or exchange & we will work with you to get the product you desire. If you're interested in an exchange please look at the current in-stock items & let us know which you would like as a replacement.

We will charge or refund any price difference & ship the replacement (free of charge) once we have received the returned product. If a full refund is approved, the cost of the item less shipping will be refunded using the original payment method.
